Welcome to HANDebooks
HANDebooks has already been around for quite some time, but admittedly, it has been neglected. It was originally created as a collection of how to pages to document the steps I found to convert ebooks to formats I could read on my Palm Pilot. I created it, because I really liked reading books electronically and thought everyone else would too. The site has received a pretty steady and consistent stream of daily traffic since it was put up. Now with the Kindle, the Nook, the Novel, and the iPad, it seems ebooks are finally getting the attention I have always thought they deserved. For that reason, I am going to add a blog to the front page so I can easily make posts and try not to neglect the site so much anymore. I am going to leave the old content in place, since the links to it across the web have been there for years. Even though the Kindle and the Nook are getting all the press, you can still read ebooks on pretty much anything with a screen and those pages will help you do it. I will, however, try to take the time to update some of the how to guides to help people converting content for the newer devices, although the process is much easier than it was in that past.
where is all the old conversion info?
that was a cool resource.
It is still there, use the menu “Original Pages” on the right hand side to access the old pages.
thanks!
harvested much info from those pages.
