EBook Converters Chances are, if you are looking for ebooks on the web, you might find them in a format that might need to be converted before you can read them on your handheld device. To do this you need a program that will convert it. What converter you will need will depend on the original type of file that you want to convert, and the reader that you are going to read it with on your handheld device. As there are many readers and many fomats, there are also many converters. Generally most readers come with their own converters unless they are purely intended to be used with the generic palmDOC/AportisDOC format. The table below has links that will take you to directions for converting files. The row across the top list types of files for the PC that you may find ebooks in.
