How to convert PDF into other files.

Step 1 - Load the file to Adobe Reader
If you are using a Windows system to read this, more than likely you already have Adobe Reader installed on your system. If not, you can download it from Adobe for free.

Step 2 - Select the text
Click the select text button at the top of the screen and then select file->select all. All of the text in the document will be selected.

Step 3 - Copy the text
Click on the text with your right mouse button and select copy text. This copies the selected text into your clipboard.

Step 3 - Paste it to a Word Processor
Paste the text into a Word Processor. Open Office, Word, Wordpad, etc. Whatever you prefer. Click in the empty document with your right mouse button and select paste from the pop up menu, or select Edit->Paste or type ctrl-V on your keyboard. Whatever application you select, most of these should work.

Step 4 - Edit as you wish
Now you have the text from the PDF in a Word Processor, you can edit it to get it to have the layout that you like. For some help with this, check out Handebooks tips on formatting ebooks.
